Your voice, in Yeonhong
Voice Studio is now open in beta. Upload your recordings and we’ll build a TTS voice from your voice. If you like it, sign a contract and we’ll release it as a Studio Yeonhong TTS voice. Everyone whose voice is released gets Plus Membership.
Since this is a beta, the screens and process may change. We’ll let you know through our news and announcements if they do.
How it works
- 1. Apply: Sign in with your Google account and enter the voice name you want, the feel of the voice, and your recording setup.You’ll also enter your name, date of birth, and mobile number.
- 2. Agree and record: After checking the required consents, read the passages on screen aloud and record them.You can record right in your browser or upload files you’ve recorded (WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC).
- 3. Pick a candidate: Once you submit, we build several candidate voices from your recordings. Listen to each one, or type your own sentence to hear it.You can keep refining a candidate you like (Enhance) or start over (Create new). You can create up to 5 times a day.
- 4. Verification recording: After you confirm a candidate, record one more short sentence so we can confirm it’s really you.
- 5. Review: Studio Yeonhong reviews your recordings and candidate, then sets the voice name and release date.
- 6. E-contract: Sign the contract electronically through UCanSign. You’ll verify with your mobile phone when you sign.
- 7. Release: On the scheduled date, your voice joins Yeonhong’s TTS voice list.
Launch date
- New voices are released together on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 9 PM (KST).
- The release date is set when we approve your voice, and it’s written into your contract.
- If you haven’t signed by 23:59 (KST) on the Thursday of release week, your release moves to the next date.
Recording
- Required: at least one emotion passage and the verification sentenceChoose emotion passages from neutral, joy, sadness, surprise, anger, and warmth.
- Optional: announcement style, chat reading, and the remaining emotion passagesThe more you record, the better your voice turns out.
- Keep each passage between 8 seconds and 2 minutes, and the verification sentence between 3 and 30 seconds.
- Record somewhere quiet, not too far from the mic. We check the volume and noise as soon as you record.
- Please record in your own voice. We don’t accept other people’s recordings or impressions.
What you get
- Plus Membership from your release date until the day your contract ends.It’s given to your Discord account, so please link Discord when you apply.
- We’ll introduce your voice once in our official Discord server announcements and website news.You choose whether to share just the voice name, or your stage name and channel too.
- If you’d like a different reward, email studio.yeonhong@gmail.com before you submit so we can agree on it. Whatever we agree on goes into your contract.
Contract
- The first contract term is 2 years, then it renews automatically every year. We’ll let you know 30 days before each renewal.
- Your voice is used across all of Studio Yeonhong’s TTS services.
- You can request to end the contract at any time. It ends on whichever comes later: the end of the current term, or one month after your request.
Before you apply
- You can apply if you’re 14 or older.If you’re under 19, you’ll need a legal guardian’s consent, and please include their email address.
- Your recordings and the voices we build are stored encrypted.
- Candidates you didn’t pick are deleted within 30 days of signing. Your original recordings are deleted when the contract ends.
- If you cancel your application or it isn’t accepted, we delete your recordings and candidates within 30 days.
