Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Yeonhong and Yeonha bots (the “Bots”) provided by Studio Yeonhong (the “Company”), and users' rights and obligations. By using the Bots, you are deemed to agree to these terms.

2. Effect and amendment of terms

• These terms apply to all users of the Bots operated by the Company.
• The Company may amend these terms. Changes will be announced in advance through Discord bot notices or the official website. Users who do not agree to amended terms must stop using the service.

3. Provision and changes to services

• The Company provides various features and services within Discord through the Bots.

The Company uses artificial intelligence in the following services to operate the Bots.

• The Company may change or discontinue Bot features or services as needed and is not liable for resulting losses to users.

4. User obligations

• Users must comply with Discord's terms of service and applicable laws.
• Users must not misuse the Bots to harm others or for improper purposes.
• Users may not use the Bots for commercial purposes. If commercial use is identified, the Company may restrict or suspend service.
• Users must not infringe another person's voice or personality rights by training on, cloning, or generating their voice without consent.
• Users must not remove watermarks or labels identifying content as AI-generated.
• Users using another person's voice must guarantee that they have obtained that person's explicit consent for AI training and service use. The Company may request evidence of this consent.
• Users bear all civil and criminal liability for rights infringements or legal issues arising from violations of the above provisions. The Company is not liable.
• The Company may restrict or suspend service without prior notice if a user violates these terms or engages in illegal activity.

5. Usage restrictions

The Company classifies and manages TTS according to its precision and performance.

The Company applies different usage policies by TTS category.

The following exceptions apply.

• Incidental inclusion of Bot TTS audio in a stream or recording
• However, the Bot's TTS must not address sensitive topics.
• A stream or recording in which the Company's Bot TTS audio accounts for one third or more is treated as a content production.
• If Bot TTS audio is included, captions or text must disclose that the voice is AI-generated and not a real person.
• Cases expressly permitted as exceptions by the Company's chief officer

If a violation of the above provisions is confirmed, service may be restricted or suspended without prior notice.

6. Membership services

• The Company offers paid memberships including the Custom Voice feature.
• Memberships renew automatically each billing cycle using the user's registered payment method. Cycles and amounts vary by product and are shown at checkout and under Membership in the dashboard.
• When payment is made, the Company informs the user of the amount, payment date, payment method, and next scheduled billing date. Discord settings may prevent delivery of the notice; the same information remains available under Membership in the dashboard.
• Users may cancel at any time through Dashboard → Membership (멤버십) → Status (현황), using the same method as enrollment. The Company will not make cancellation more complicated than signing up.
• After cancellation, no further renewal charges apply, and the already-paid period remains available until expiry. The effects of cancellation and refunds are defined in the Refund Policy.
• Users may upgrade during their membership. Before charging, the Company displays the old and new prices, remaining credit deduction, actual charge, and new billing date, and obtains the user's consent.
• Voice credits are a separate purchase of Custom Voice usage time. Their validity and refund conditions are defined in the Refund Policy.
• Details of membership refunds and payment cancellations follow the separately published Refund Policy.
• If a user violates Articles 4 or 5 by using another person's voice without permission, breaching usage policies, or using membership features unlawfully, the Company may immediately terminate service without a refund.
• After membership ends, membership data such as user-created custom voices may be deleted under the Company's data management policy.

7. Privacy protection

• The Company protects information collected during Bot use in accordance with applicable laws.
• The Company does not use personal information for purposes other than Bot operation or provide it to third parties without consent. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Limitation of liability

• The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from use of the Bots.
• The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters or Discord outages.

9. Interpretation

Matters not addressed in these terms and interpretation of these terms are governed by applicable laws and commercial practices.

10. Dispute resolution

• The parties will consult each other to resolve disputes relating to these terms amicably.
• If consultation does not resolve the dispute, it will be resolved by the competent court under the laws of the Republic of Korea.

11. Changes to the Terms of Service

These terms take effect on September 3, 2026.
